This type of pipe is one of the most common. It is used in lighter structures in a variety of applications, such as the furniture industry, the vehicle and engineering industries, and sports, hobby and leisure applications. They can be seen, for example, in the furniture frames of desks, shelves and lamps, shop furniture and shelf supports, aids for the disabled, play equipment, bicycles, fence and tent poles, and the surfaces of ladders. These round pipes are also a good choice in some areas of the construction industry, for example as fall protection and safety devices. The popularity and wide range of use of this product is due to its good properties, such as tight dimensional tolerances and fine surfaces. 

Compared to the EN 10305-5 standard, only the shape differs from the others. The pipe is made from cold-rolled steel strip or uncoated/coated hot-rolled strip and is typically thin-walled. The surfaces are also suitable for various surface treatments. Cold-rolled tubes are suitable for chrome plating. Hot-rolled, pickled strip is suitable for hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing and painting. E220 and E235 are the most common steel grades in our warehouse.
